The final meeting of the Go4sportVolunteering project took place from April 16-20, 2024, in Konya, Turkey. Hosted by Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü, this event brought together project partners to review achievements, finalize project conclusions, and present our work to local stakeholders. Partners had a chance to discuss project’s overall progress, to present reports on their achievements and deliverables for each project activity.
Partners representatives also had the chance to work in groups, evaluating each activity and the overall implementation of the project. This resulted in producing final evaluation and lessons learned report. These group discussions also were crucial for making decisions on outstanding issues and planning the final stages of the project.
During the meeting partners also had the chance to oversee what was done regarding the visibility and dissemination of project activities. This session emphasized the importance of effectively sharing the project’s outcomes with a broader audience.
During the meeting partners had a chance to organize the Final project conference (see our nex post) and also to held some important meetings with local stakeholders to ensure continuation of our work in this field.
The meeting successfully met its objectives, which were to:
- Review produced project deliverables and outputs.
- Discuss and formalize the project’s conclusion.
- Detail the reporting process.
- Present the project to local stakeholders through the Final Conference.
Held at the premises of the hosting organization, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesi Spor Kulübü, the meeting was a significant milestone, ensuring that the Go4sportVolunteering project concluded on a high note, with clear outcomes and a shared sense of achievement among all participants.
